Cassaidy is an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner with ten years of advanced nursing experience and over 20 years of serving her community in healthcare. She is passionate about providing high-quality, patient-focused, and holistic care. Her expertise includes infectious disease, urgent care, primary care, and compassionate and non-judgmental services for those needing addiction treatment.
Joanne is an experienced Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) who has dedicated over a decade to mental health counseling in Kentucky. Joanne has experience working in FQHC settings, private practice, residential, and juvenile drug courts. Her practice philosophy is to create a calm, supportive space for clients, utilizing a mix of therapeutic methods to help them reconnect with their aspirations. Joanne’s work emphasizes the complex interplay between mental health and substance use, guiding clients toward improvement with empathy and expertise. Her message to members is, “Things can get better.”
Sara is a native of Louisville, KY, and brings a wealth of experience to the Wayspring team. She began her nursing career 14 years ago as a Registered Nurse, working in inpatient psychiatric settings and collaborating with multi-disciplinary treatment teams to provide continuity of care. Her career journey includes significant time in corrections at the Kentucky Correctional Psychiatric Center, where she was involved in forensic psychiatric competency evaluations for the state of Kentucky. In 2019, she graduated from Indiana Wesleyan with a Master of Science in Nursing and became a Board-Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
Nikita Sutton has been dedicated to the healthcare field since 2007. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from Eastern Kentucky University and her Master's Degree from the University of Cincinnati in 2014. Nikita is an AANP certified Family Nurse Practitioner and is certified in addiction medicine by the Addictions Nursing Certification Board. She has worked with underserved populations in pediatrics and internal medicine at a local FQHC before focusing on addiction medicine full time in 2021. Nikita enjoys working with young people and witnessing the transformative power of integrated whole health care. She emphasizes the importance of preventative care, mental health care, and addressing social determinants of health and wellness. Outside of work, Nikita loves traveling to new places and spending time with her family and two daughters.
Tarah has 13 years of therapy experience across a range of mental health settings, such as a residential group home, therapeutic foster care, and a psychiatric hospital. Tarah has extensive experience with working with dual-diagnosis patients and has worked with various mental health disorders and varying levels of substance use. Tarah has used value-based and evidence-based approaches to therapy. She prefers to take a holistic approach to treating patients, assisting members in navigating their recovery journey to support lasting change.
