Elisa Harris

Elisa joined Wayspring in 2023 as General Counsel, following a six-year stint in a similar role as General Counsel at Contessa Health. Prior to Contessa Health, Elisa was Senior Counsel at Tenet Healthcare, where she served as primary counsel for Tenet’s three health plans, including Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, commercial, health insurance exchange, and self-funded lines of business, as well as operations counsel for two hospitals. She has extensive expertise in providing legal counsel to managed care contracting teams, health plans, and hospitals, and has done work in contracting and regulatory compliance, as well as other risk-based initiatives. At Wayspring, Elisa will provide strategic legal guidance to support the fluid operations of our organization. A native of Iowa, Elisa received her law degree from Vanderbilt University Law School and her undergraduate degrees from Culver-Stockton College in Canton, MO.
