When people ask me where I am from, my typical response is where was I born or where have I lived the longest. I am a military brat. I was born in northern Maine and lived in Germany (traveling all over Europe), Ohio, Iowa, Indiana, Tennessee, and finally back to Indiana. Throughout my time in the field, I have developed a passion for working in addiction treatment. At Wayspring, I really enjoy our assessment process, especially after coming out of the high-volume therapist world.
Things I do for fun are typically centered around my kids. I have a 14-year-old and a 7-year-old who keep me busy. Also, here’s an odd fact about me: I don’t like cheese, but I eat pizza.
